The Alishan Forest Railway experienced 4 consecutive mainline derailments between January and February of the 107th year, seriously impacting safety. The authority initiated a special investigation mechanism to investigate. Apart from the newly purchased train derailment and procurement disputes, which require further clarification and are temporarily suspended from the investigation, the other 3 cases have completed special investigation reports as attached. The investigation scope includes: 1. A derailment accident at 16K900M on the Chiayi line on January 23, 107; 2. A derailment accident at 27K400M on the Chiayi line on February 14, 107; 3. A derailment accident at 20K445M on the Chiayi line on February 25, 107.
