The COVID-19 related control measures have been gradually relaxed since March 2023, and the inspection and reporting policies have also changed, so this dataset has not been updated since March 2, 2023. However, for the convenience of users, the dataset is expected to be removed from the shelf on June 30 this year.The daily number of COVID-19 tests in Taiwan is divided into expanded monitoring testing, home quarantine testing, and statutory infectious disease reporting according to the source of notification.The field descriptions are as follows:1. Date of notification: The date of notification by the health authorities.2. Statutory infectious disease reporting: Those who meet the notification definition of the fifth category of statutory infectious disease, "severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2" (COVID-19).3. Home quarantine testing: In the early stages of the epidemic, those who reported for testing due to relevant symptoms during home quarantine period, and later expanded community monitoring subjects as the epidemic developed. This part of the testing is included in "expanded monitoring testing".4. Expanded monitoring testing: Those who do not meet the notification definition of "severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2", but are suspected by clinical physicians, and assessed as necessary for notification testing.5. TOTAL: The total number of notifications and tests for the three categories mentioned above.
