Average number of cigarettes smoked per day by individuals over the age of 15
The source of the information is the "Survey of Smoking Behavior Among the People" conducted by the National Health Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The survey collects relevant information on smoking habits from the public through telephone interviews. For a brief introduction to the survey, please refer to the "Tobacco Control Information Network" of the National Health Administration (http://tobacco.hpa.gov.tw/).The definition of "average number of cigarettes smoked per day by smokers aged 15 and above" refers to the average number of cigarettes smoked per day by current smokers aged 15 and above (defined as those who have smoked more than 100 cigarettes in the past and have used tobacco products in the last 30 days) in the past month (30 days).
