The daily smoking rate among people aged 18 and over
The source of the data is the "National Smoking Behavior Survey" of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's National Health Administration. The survey uses telephone interviews to collect smoking-related information from the public. For more information, please refer to the "Tobacco Control Information Website" of the National Health Administration (http://tobacco.hpa.gov.tw/).The definition of "daily smoking rate" is the ratio of people who have smoked more than 100 cigarettes from the past until now and have used tobacco daily in the past 30 days. Calculated using the formulaNumber of respondents aged 18 and over who answered "smoked more than 100 cigarettes so far" and "used tobacco daily in the past 30 days"/Number of valid completed interviews of individuals aged 18 and over*100%.
