Research report on optimal body length of triploid oysters in hanging culture in Matsu coastal area
The Matsu Sea Area is located at the estuary of the Minjiang River in Fujian Province. A large amount of river water flows into the sea, bringing a large amount of inorganic salts and organic substances, making the Matsu Sea Area extremely rich in nutrients. In the past, two shellfish such as oysters and mussels were raised. With good results, the product flavor is also welcomed by the consumer market and is well-known far and wide. However, because the total number of people engaged in the Matsu fishery industry is still less than that of the main island, raising high-unit-price shellfish species here, such as oysters, has more economic benefits.
