To increase resource recycling, reduce waste, implement the concept of turning trash into treasure, inspire community vitality, promote environmental education, and improve environmental sanitation, the New Taipei City Government's Environmental Protection Bureau launched the "Golden Recycle Station" policy at the end of August 2011. This policy encourages neighborhood chiefs to set up recycle stations. Residents can bring recyclable materials to the stations to be weighed and accumulate points to exchange for New Taipei City's special garbage bags and other items; this webpage provides information on the location of the Golden Recycle Station in New Taipei City (Shenkeng District).
