To encourage domestic display industry manufacturers to develop display components, products, and technologies with innovative techniques and market advantages, the bureau has been organizing the "Gold Panel Awards" selection and commendation event since 2001 to enhance the image and competitiveness of the display industry in our country. Taiwan's display industry has matured, and since 2014, the Taiwan Display Industry Association (TDUA) has taken over as the organizer of the "Gold Panel Awards." The bureau continues to encourage industry players to develop innovative products and technologies, providing guidance to TDUA to promote comprehensive industry involvement in research and development. In line with the government's open data initiative, the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Bureau and TDUA have opened up the list of "Gold Panel Awards" winners, providing the names of winning companies and projects for public access.
