Since April 2012, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has been accepting applications for the Green Factory Label. As of May 2015, 23 Green Factory Labels have been issued and 59 companies have passed the assessment for compliance with the Clean Production Evaluation System. This indicates that the promotion of green factories has gradually gained attention from enterprises. In order to commend and promote certified green factories, the Industrial Development Bureau has established a "List of Certified Green Factory Enterprises" to provide comprehensive information on green factories and certified clean production enterprises. In accordance with the government's open data initiative, the Industrial Development Bureau has now opened the service for querying the names of companies, industry categories, certificate numbers, and dates of approval for all certified green factories in Taiwan. Everyone is welcome to make use of this service.
