Datagov Opendata Platform

This dataset is established by the Taiwan Biodiversity Research Institute, MOA; TBRI (formerly known as the Taiwan Endemic Species Research Institute, TESRI) using the social networking site Facebook to form the group "City of Moths - World of Moths (https://www.facebook.com/groups/EnjoyMoths2/)". The group invites netizens who are interested in moths to join and encourages them to share moth photos, along with the location and date of the photos. The endemic center's moth popularization team then uses Access to develop a database program to systematically archive the shared data from moth enthusiasts. Each record, in addition to temporal and spatial distribution data such as date, altitude, longitude, latitude, and taxon identification results, includes a moth photo serving as a reference picture.
