Datagov Opendata Platform

The main island of Taiwan has 39 areas of interest, including 4 in the north, 6 in the northwest, 7 in the west, 6 in the southwest, 4 in the south, 4 in the northeast, 8 in the east, and 5 in the outlying islands (Green Island, Orchid Island, Kinmen, Penghu, and Matsu). Each specific area of interest and its focus are detailed, including the main types of habitats, key animal and plant species of interest, and identification purposes. Urban areas are excluded from the Green Network areas of interest, and the project considers metropolitan areas as those with a population of over 100,000, or with a combined population of over 200,000.
