Taichung City Historical Architecture Gomei Lighthouse Restoration and Reuse Project Work Report
The restoration and reuse project of the historic building Gao Mei Lighthouse in Taichung City began construction on February 2, 2023 (Republic of China 112). Recognizing the importance of documenting the restoration of cultural heritage sites, the organizing authority, the Taiwan Ministry of Transportation and Communications Civil Aeronautics Administration, commissioned Architect Yang Renjiang's firm on July 26, 2021 (Republic of China 110) to conduct project planning, design, supervision, and prepare work reports. It is hoped that through the recording of construction processes and the organization of data from restoration to acceptance, a comprehensive record of this restoration can be made for future research, archiving, and reference for further restoration.
