Keelung City Designated Historical Site Keelung Lighthouse Restoration and Reuse Project Work Report
The restoration and reuse project of Keelung Lighthouse, a municipal historic site in Keelung City, started on August 31, 2022 (Year 111 of the Republic of China). Recognizing the significance of documenting the restoration of cultural heritage sites, the organizer, the Taiwan Transportation and Communications Ministry's Harbor Bureau, commissioned Architect Yang Renjiang's firm on July 26, 2021 (Year 110 of the Republic of China) to carry out the project planning and design, supervision, and the writing of work reports. It is hoped that through recording the construction methods and organizing data during the restoration to the acceptance period, a comprehensive record of this restoration can be made for future research, archiving, and reference for future restorations.
