Research on promoting coast guard volunteer organizations
Based on the limited government resources and unlimited civilian power, this research intends to assess the possible operation methods of promoting our country's coast guard volunteer organization to assist the coast guard unit's responsibilities. Research methods include literature analysis, interviews, and expert discussions. The literature analysis will mainly collect cases of relevant non-governmental organizations for rescue in the United States, Canada, and Australia, as well as our country's volunteer systems such as police and fire volunteers. The interviews and discussions will further collect the participants' views on promoting the coast guard volunteer organization. This research will propose possible operation methods for promoting our country's coast guard volunteer organization, conduct a pros and cons analysis, and serve as a reference for the Ocean Commission to promote coast guard volunteers.
