This project is based on the overall transportation planning model in Taiwan, and proposes a freight analysis framework that meets the planning needs based on the characteristics of domestic freight. The project divides the overall freight demand into three modules: import and export freight, intercity freight, and urban freight. By consolidating the analysis framework and methods for the freight volume demand of each module, the overall freight transportation planning analysis framework for the country can be established. Based on this, future research topics, priorities, and annual implementation recommendations for freight demand analysis can be proposed, which can then be used as a reference for the competent authority's subsequent development of freight transportation strategic planning, policy planning, and other decision-making applications.
