The institute has completed the design and assembly of the "trolley type bridge inspection tool" as the main body with a convenient, portable, economical, and space-making design framework, through previous related projects. The prototype bridge inspection tool is able to stably extend and move under the bridge to photograph the beam's underside image. The tool can be used to inspect the actual condition of the bridge bottom in the tidal river section and can also help enhance the quality, efficiency, and personnel safety of bridge inspection operations. In the fiscal year 2022, the institute improved and enhanced the bridge inspection equipment to improve the stability of inspection images and equipment operation, and has developed value-added applications and technology transfer on this basis to continue to improve the quality and efficiency of highway bridge inspections in our country.
