The funeral facilities capacity improvement plan (for years 111 to 114)
This project is in response to our country's imminent entry into a super-aged society in 114 years, facing the neighbor-avoidance nature of funeral facilities, and the trend of difficulty in future construction. It assists local governments in setting up and expanding funeral parlors or crematoriums within existing funeral facility sites to supply the main facilities and equipment, reducing the impact on the public and the environment. Considering the rapid increase in future deaths, it is currently necessary to guide local governments through subsidy mechanisms to enhance funeral facility services. During the implementation of this project, a dual-track approach of subsidy and promotion will be adopted to assist local governments in improving funeral facilities within their jurisdiction.
