The study of early planning for the retreat and defense of the Yunjia Coast (Outer Umbrella Top Island)
Taiwan is surrounded by the sea, which harbors abundant living and non-living resources. It is crucial for Taiwan's future development to wisely and sustainably treat, protect, and utilize the ocean. The establishment of the Ocean Conservation Administration in 2018 aims to promote marine ecological conservation and sustainable resource management, integrating relevant responsibilities to create a purer and more beautiful ocean for Taiwan. Raising public awareness of marine conservation is important in order to face the ocean bravely, make good use of existing marine resources, and ensure their sustainable development, thus constructing a friendly environment for coexistence and mutual prosperity between humans and the sea.
