Chinese white dolphins (scientific name: Sousa chinensis) conservation education training activities
Habitat loss, pollution, unfriendly fishing methods, reduced freshwater flow, and underwater noise are the five major threats to the critically endangered Taiwanese national treasure - the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin, which inhabits shallow waters along the central and western coasts of Taiwan, as listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in 2008.
