Datagov Opendata Platform

The National Academy of Marine Research undertakes the "Marine Recreation Safety Information System Development Plan" in the fiscal year 110, conducts investigations in marine areas nationwide, and utilizes the latest information technology to build the "GoOcean Marine Recreation Risk Information Platform" to provide real-time public information. In addition, the academy has been conducting research on the traditional marine culture and knowledge of the Amis tribe since 108. It has found that the indigenous language place names used by the tribe contain rich elements of coastal topography, nearshore waters, marine ecology, historical memory, and even many contents related to marine area risks. Starting from the year 110, the academy has been conducting investigations and research on traditional place names and marine culture in various locations, collecting local and marine area-related traditional knowledge through research methods such as historical documents and oral interviews.
