Research and testing of integrated monitoring system for deep-sea water intake pipelines
The effectiveness of the planning, design, and installation of deep-sea water intake pipelines is crucial for the development of the deep-sea water industry. The installation of pipelines is also susceptible to regional sea conditions. The future operation of the pipelines relies on comprehensive and effective monitoring. It is necessary to develop an integrated system for domestic underwater water intake pipeline inspection and real-time monitoring to assess the water supply function of the underwater intake pipeline at all times. This system should also provide connectivity for underwater sensors and continuous monitoring and warning functions onshore. This will enable the early warning and assessment of the location of water intake pipeline problems and corresponding measures to be taken before the water supply is disrupted, in order to avoid issues with stable water supply that could affect the development of the deep-sea water industry.
