This collection of essays is for the academic conference "Elmosa in the Spanish Era". In 2023, the National Academy of Marine Research invited academic consultant Professor Zhang Shuying to organize the academic conference "Elmosa in the Spanish Era" to explore the "Beautiful Island" (Elmosa) of the Spanish era, focusing on the "Golden Age of Spain" (16th and 17th centuries). This is not only a rare exploration of the topic of "Spanish literary and historical materials and perspectives" in Taiwan's historical research, but also because of the "new discoveries and in-depth research" in recent years on the historical sites of the Spanish era in Keelung's Peace Island by Taiwan's academic community.
