National Stranding Response and Rescue Education Training Program
Due to the frequent and increasing cases of stranded marine wildlife, the Coast Guard Administration aims to familiarize its team members with the reporting of stranding cases involving whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. The goal is to improve the first responders' handling capabilities and ultimately enhance the survival rate of stranded animals. This project will continue to provide professional training to further enhance the rescue team's capabilities. Through local resource integration and on-site simulations, the plan is to strengthen the emergency response capabilities of the Coast Guard rescue team.
