To comply with greenhouse gas reduction and management regulations, improvement proposals have been developed for the second phase of the transportation sector's greenhouse gas emission control action plan. This project has collected domestic and international transportation sector greenhouse gas reduction strategies, consulted with relevant domestic units and expert scholars for discussion, and put forward domestic strategies and recommendations for adoption. Our country's transportation sector reduction strategy framework largely follows the three major axes of international transportation strategy: demand reduction, modal shift, and technological improvement. By understanding domestic reduction responsibility allocation and our country's transportation sector emission structure, a mechanism has been formed through a review of bottom-up and top-down strategies to propose improvement suggestions for the second phase of the transportation sector's greenhouse gas emission control action plan (draft), and to complete an impact assessment report based on the strategy content.
