Intersection Overhead Photography Technology in Case Analysis and Comparison of Traffic Conflicts
The project builds on the research outcomes of the "Development and Application of Road Traffic Flow and Accident Risk Detection and Analysis Tools" in 2018 and "Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Traffic Photography and Conflict Analysis Technology at Intersections" in 2019. It utilizes the extraction of aerial image trajectories of people and vehicles for image analysis and demonstrates intersection conflict analysis using traffic conflict analysis software. Furthermore, it links the conflict analysis results and the classification of conflict events with the research project "Traffic Engineering Improvement Design Examples for Various Types of Traffic Accidents" conducted by this institute, connecting the analysis results of conflict events with the development of traffic engineering improvement measures.
