According to the work results of this project, the observation data of the past years have been provided to government agencies and academic units for reference. The long-term marine meteorological observation system and marine meteorological database established by this institute can provide relevant units such as port and harbor authorities with references for vessel navigation, harbor planning, and port construction, enhance the operational efficiency and quality of ports, and also provide government agencies, consulting companies, and academic units with references for planning, design, and research.
