This study develops a strategy for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles in the transportation sector in Taiwan through the collection and interviews of relevant data on domestic and international unmanned aerial vehicle technology development, industry trends, and policies. Key achievements include: collecting trends and applications of unmanned aerial vehicles domestically and internationally, taking stock of our country's key technological capabilities and energy gaps in the unmanned aerial vehicle technology industry, revising the "Development Strategy and Roadmap 2.0 for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in the Transportation Sector in Taiwan" based on international development trends and our country's industrial status, proposing two milestones for unmanned aerial vehicles in the transportation sector in Taiwan by 2025, and proposing a plan to establish a U-Team in our country to systematically promote the aforementioned strategic goals.
