Currently, there are many devices available for bridge inspection, such as long poles, bridge inspection vehicles, bridge inspection boats, unmanned aerial vehicles, remotely operated boats... However, different inspection equipment has its own applicable range. There is currently no suitable inspection tool for use in tidal river bridges. Because the bridges in the tidal river section have a problem of insufficient clearance height, existing inspection equipment is difficult to take images of the bridge bottom. In order to solve the practical difficulties faced in this work, this project aims to develop bridge inspection equipment for confined spaces, to assist bridge inspection personnel in completing bridge inspection work faster, safer, and more accurately.
