In order to identify innovative models in Taiwan's industry and discover the driving force and methods of innovation, the "Taiwan Innovation Enterprise Survey" has introduced internationally recognized innovation standards for the first time to assess the innovation capabilities of Taiwanese enterprises. It is hoped that this will raise domestic enterprises' awareness of the importance of innovation. This survey is organized by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and executed in collaboration with the Chinese Productivity Center, the Taiwan branch of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Business Next magazine, and the Chinese Credit Information Institute. The survey introduces an international ranking mechanism and uses the globally consistent innovation survey questionnaire from BCG to select the top 20 innovative enterprises in Taiwan each year.In line with the government's promotion of open data measures, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is now making available for download the model cases of the top 20 innovative enterprises in Taiwan from previous years. It is hoped that this will assist domestic industries in understanding their own level of innovation energy and the gap with innovation benchmarks, in order to strengthen the effectiveness of benchmark models and shape an atmosphere of innovation.
