To assist industrial area operators in comprehensive sewage treatment, the Bureau currently oversees 41 sewage treatment plants in industrial areas, 34 of which are equipped with continuous water quality monitoring facilities connected to the environmental protection authority for real-time monitoring. This is to ensure that discharged water does not affect the natural environment. Any abnormalities in water quality can trigger immediate responses to adjust plant operations and maintain environmental quality.In order to provide the public and relevant authorities with information on the water quality of sewage treatment plant effluents, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has established the "Water Quality Information of Industrial Area Sewage Treatment Plant Effluents" dataset, which facilitates convenient inquiries for complete effluent information.In line with the government's efforts to open up data, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs will now make available the water quality information of effluents from sewage treatment plants nationwide, including temperature, pH value, and electrical conductivity (EC), for download, welcoming widespread use.
