Collection of Criminal Policy and Crime Research Papers (17) - "Discussion on the Management of High-Risk Community Offenders - The UK Model and Taiwan Experience"
Observing the management concepts and practices of community crime in the UK and contrasting with the current challenges faced in Taiwan, we propose (1) establishing professional assessment institutions and quality certification, (2) considering the design of a comprehensive risk management system and enhancing supporting resources, (3) diversifying the manpower of guardianship support and enhancing the number of judicial social workers, (4) strengthening top-level integration and partner prevention networks. These are four recommendations for reference in relevant criminal justice policy planning.
