To encourage the general public in Taiwan to be willing to tell their own stories and share with their favorite families, friends, and even the wider society, the Ministry of Culture has launched the "National Memory Bank: Taiwan Story Island" project and plans to build a memory network to record the touching stories of the Taiwanese people, gathering them into a national memory database.
