To commend personnel who have made outstanding contributions to the land administration business for a long time, boost the morale of land administration workers, and promote their dedication, the Ministry of the Interior established the "Republic of China Land Administration Contribution Award Selection Guidelines" in September 1996. Each year, the list of winners of the Land Administration Contribution Award, selected from land administrative agencies, administrative agencies, academic groups, and social organizations, is announced publicly during the land administration festival celebrations.
