Hemodialysis Fistula Reconstruction Rate (Disease-specific Indicator)
The "fistula" is a surgery in which the arteries and veins of hemodialysis patients are anastomosed. Hemodialysis patients need to undergo fistula dialysis for a long term, typically lasting 1 to 2 years under normal use. When the fistula cannot be used, a new one needs to be created. If the reconstruction rate is too high, it means that the patient's fistula damage rate is too high, which may be due to the patient's poor vascular condition, special conditions that make the vessels easily blocked, or inadequate care of the patient's fistula site by the medical institution, necessitating a "graft" or "implant" procedure.
