Taiwan Sugar Corporation once had 42 sugar factories distributed throughout the province. With the international sugar price low and the cost of sugar production increasing, only two sugar factories, Huwei and Shanha, continue sugar production. The remaining sugar factories in various locations have gradually ceased production in recent years. The sugar industry has gradually transitioned to various industries, resulting in significant idle assets and underutilized dormitories. To implement the asset management system, control the quantity and actual operating conditions of existing assets, and achieve the goal of reducing production costs, unused assets are actively rented out to effectively utilize and enhance operational income. In addition to publishing rental information in public announcements, Taiwan Sugar Corporation also posts rental information on the Public Construction Commission website of the Executive Yuan, and on the corporation's official website, for reference by external parties.
