The Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has commissioned the Industrial Technology Research Institute to implement the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management Specification (TIPS) since 2008 in order to assist Taiwanese enterprises and organizations in verifying their intellectual property management systems, with the goal of saving on research and development costs, shortening R&D time, reducing the risk of confidential information leakage, and obtaining the intellectual property needed for business operations. In support of the government's open data measures, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is now providing the list of companies that have been verified by TIPS, including company names, verification type, and verification year information for public use. This system provides a list of companies that have been verified by the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management Specification (TIPS).
