The Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Bureau has opened the "2016-2018 Information Service Industry Professional Talent Demand Survey" dataset for public use from today. Adequate industry key talent is one of the key factors for the development of an industry. For the overall national economy, key strategic industries with development prospects or significant impact on the national economy not only require a large amount of national resources, but their success or failure will affect the future economic growth for the coming years. Therefore, investing in resources to promote the development of industry professionals is a crucial factor for industry growth. Therefore, understanding the domestic talent demand situation is necessary for promoting the development of industry professionals, in order to effectively assess whether the existing talent can support industry growth and assist the government in allocating talent development resources to key job categories that are lacking in the country. In order to provide the public and relevant agencies with an understanding of the demand for professional talent in the information service industry, the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Bureau has established the "2016-2018 Information Service Industry Professional Talent Demand Survey" dataset to provide information on the survey results for public inquiry. In line with the government's promotion of open data measures, the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Bureau has begun making the survey results available for download, including optimistic estimates, neutral estimates, and conservative estimates of the number of professionals needed in the information service industry, and welcomes the public to make use of them.
