In order to comply with the Executive Yuan's policy to reduce the digital divide, the Ministry of Education is responsible for planning and implementing the "Rural Digital Application Enhancement Project," which sets up "Digital Opportunity Centers" (DOC) in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th level townships with slow digital development. The establishment of DOCs will involve the joint efforts of the public and private sectors and the local community to provide local residents with digital learning and digital access, and is also expected to enhance public participation, conduct digital marketing, and engage in online self-learning through the establishment of DOCs to meet the digital needs of daily life and enrich life applications.
