The Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is now open for the "Investment Overview of Taiwan's Wind Power Industry" dataset, and welcomes everyone to make greater use of it. Green energy technology is one of President Tsai Ing-wen's five major innovative industry plans in the economic policy. Currently, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has clearly defined a target of reaching a 3GW offshore wind power installation capacity by 2025. It aims to utilize Taiwan's offshore wind farms as a training ground for the localization of our industrial chain, to establish localized technology, and to connect internationally to compete in the Asia-Pacific offshore wind development market. In response to the government's industrial policy, the Industrial Development Bureau is promoting the development of our country's manufacturers in equipment manufacturing and maritime engineering industries, and is regularly monitoring related investment trends.In order to provide the public and relevant institutions with an understanding of Taiwan's wind power industry investment situation, and to comply with the government's open data initiative, the "Investment Overview of Taiwan's Wind Power Industry" dataset is now available for download, including industry categories, investment types, investment amounts, etc. Everyone is encouraged to make greater use of it.
