The predecessor of Pingtung District Office, Pingtung Sugar Factory, had already realized in 1996 that relying solely on sugar operation revenue was not sustainable. It used the existing land for diversified operations. It instructed the subsidiary company to start planting seedlings on a piece of farmland in Wandan Farm and adopted the business philosophy of "innovation, practicality, pioneering, and enterprising." It introduced new and superior tree species and cultivated them in Wandan Farm. It followed the rule of "retaining the best and eliminating the inferior." With perseverance, the planting area gradually expanded, evolving into the current landscape subsidiary.Sales targets:(1) Public works construction green belt zone (open tender).(2) Street trees for general roads (national highways, provincial highways, county roads).(3) Tree seedlings for environmental protection forest park avenues and replanting in flatland afforestation projects.(4) Retail (landscape design for homes and factories).Currently, the best-selling tree species include: Bald Cypress, Golden Rain Tree, Fragrant Maple, Camphor Tree, Blue Jacaranda, Swamp Hibiscus, Golden Shower Tree, Golden Trumpet Tree, Peach Blossom Heartwood, Red Trumpet Tree, Chinese Chinkapin, Indian Rubber Tree, Chinese Tallow, Taiwan Ash, Bitterwood, Queen Crape Myrtle, Chinese Sumac, Phoenix Tree, and Senna Siamea.In conclusion, quality management means continuously pursuing the quality of products and services to enhance the convenience and comfort of people's lives, while achieving the purpose of sustainable business operations.
