Datagov Opendata Platform

This dataset contains information about the groundwater observation wells established by the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in various groundwater areas across Taiwan. It includes the well number, location, coordinates, well depth, ground level elevation, groundwater division, groundwater layers, start of observation date, and decommissioning date, among other basic information. In addition to understanding the distribution and establishment of groundwater observation wells across Taiwan, it can be used in conjunction with water level data from each observation well for further analysis of regional hydrogeological conditions. The "ground level elevation" data in this dataset refers to the elevation data of the wellhead of the observation well, which may still change due to factors such as land subsidence and earthquakes. Users are advised to use it cautiously and to check for updated information.
