This area is divided into two main leisure activity areas, suitable for people to leisurely enjoy and visit. 1. Leisure service area: 1. Ice shop: producing various delicious ice products using self-produced sugar as raw material. 2. Old Tree Sugar House: originally a sugar factory reception house, now serves as a restaurant for coffee, hot pot set meals, and international cuisine.2. Outdoor activity area: 1. Cherry Blossom Forest: planted with mountain cherry blossoms, double cherry blossoms, and Indian cherry blossoms, the best cherry blossom viewing spot in central Taiwan. 2. Lotus Pond: home to water lilies, giant water lilies, and lotus flowers, the best spot for photography. 3. Railway exhibit area: exhibits early railway vehicles such as diesel locomotives, sugarcane cars, low-side cars, sugar cars, stone unloading cars, flatcars, gang cars, guard cars, and cane loaders. 4. Ecological pond: using the defunct sewage treatment ponds of the sugar factory, the water is purified and circulated before being injected into the ecological pond, allowing for the enjoyment of feeding fish. 5. Water play area: composed of three traditional hand-operated water pumps, a place for parent-child experiences with hand-operated water pumping and water spray games. 6. Play area: with slides, seesaws, and a parent-child sandbox. 7. Parent-child grassland area: nearly 5 hectares in size, suitable for parent-child leisure and entertainment, kite flying, and playing frisbee. 8. Barbecue area: equipped with barbecue pits and a stage made up of cane sheds underneath the trees. 9. Pavilion: a place to pause along the shaded landscape trail. 10. Rest area: originally a place for overseeing sugarcane waste, transformed into a resting place for visitors. 11. Iron sculpture area: featuring sculptures made from various iron equipment used in the sugar industry. 12. Health trail: a trail made using used concrete sleeper paving, with the date of manufacture of the concrete sleepers engraved on them.
