This department established the "Agency Archive Management Gold File Award" and the "Outstanding Archive Management Personnel Gold Award" in 2002, and began the evaluation activities in 2003. The department also compiled the benchmarks of winning agencies and awardees from previous years as well as their outstanding achievements, edited the evaluation records, and provided them as reference for various agencies and archive management personnel to use as benchmarks for learning.
