1. For the current situation of forests across Taiwan, the forest type is interpreted and delineated.2. The interpretation work is carried out by personnel from the Agriculture and Forestry Aerial Survey Office and the resource investigation teams of various forest management offices, based on the "Fourth National Forest Resources Survey Land Use Type 3D Digitization and Aerial Photo Interpretation Work Manual" of the Agriculture and Forestry Aerial Survey Office, using the digitally produced aerial stereoscopic images, and filling in relevant attribute data.3. This map takes the result data, selects areas classified as forests by IPCC, and merges them according to their forest types, exporting the data on the distribution of forest types throughout Taiwan.
