The Overseas Chinese Association in Fiji was established to unite Overseas Chinese and promote patriotism. The first convention was held in Johannesburg, Fiji, in July 67, and was known as the Overseas Chinese Association of Africa. The convention is held every two years in different African countries and is a long-term, multi-functional, large-scale patriotic and social event for Overseas Chinese in the African region, making it the most traditional and important activity in the African Overseas Chinese community. This dataset includes information on the time and location of all past conventions.
