To integrate government resources, starting from the fiscal year 2017, the Ministry of Transportation's "Transportation Network Digital Map" will be integrated into our center's "Taiwan Universal Electronic Map" updates. According to the layer structure jointly determined by both parties, the "Taiwan Area Transportation Network Map Digital Data File" will be established and classified as one of the thematic layers of the Taiwan Universal Electronic Map. In addition, to comply with the government's promotion of open data policy, our center will open some of the map data of the "Taiwan Area Transportation Network Digital Map Data File" for public browsing, promoting cross-agency data sharing and enhancing governance efficiency to meet public demand. This is intended to use government open data to create knowledge assets and facilitate public services.
