To integrate government resources, starting from the fiscal year 2017, the Ministry of Transportation's "Transportation Network Digital Map" will be incorporated into the center's "Taiwan General Electronic Map" for updates. According to the jointly established map layer structure, the "Taiwan Traffic Network Map Digital Data File" will be set up and classified as one of the theme layers of the Taiwan General Electronic Map. In addition, to comply with the government's open data policy, the center will open up part of the map data of the "Taiwan Traffic Network Digital Map Data File" for public browsing, promoting the flow of cross-agency data, enhancing administrative efficiency, meeting public needs, and utilizing government open data to create knowledge assets and convenient services.
