To integrate government resources, starting from the fiscal year 2017, the "Transportation Network Digital Map" of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications will be incorporated into the update of the "Taiwan General Electronic Map" at this center. Based on the jointly established map layer structure, the "Digital Data File of the Transportation Network Map in Taiwan" is established and classified as one of the thematic map layers of the Taiwan General Electronic Map. In addition, to comply with the government's open data policy, this center provides the public with access to part of the digital map data of the transportation network in Taiwan, to facilitate the flow of data across agencies, enhance administrative efficiency, and meet the needs of the people. It is hoped that the use of open government data will create intellectual assets and convenient services for the public.
