To integrate government resources, starting from the fiscal year 2017, the Ministry of Transportation's "Traffic Road Network Digital Map" will be merged into our center's "Taiwan Universal Electronic Map" update. According to the jointly established layer structure, the "Taiwan Traffic Road Network Digital Data File" will be created and classified as one of the theme layers of the Taiwan Universal Electronic Map. In addition, to comply with the government's promotion of open data policy, our center will open part of the map data of the "Taiwan Traffic Road Network Digital Map Data File" for public browsing, promote inter-agency data flow, enhance governance efficiency, and meet the needs of the public, with the aim of using open government data to create knowledge assets and provide convenient services.
