National Taiwan Science Education Center Popular Science Lecture
The popular science lecture introduces the various ways in which the general public absorbs scientific knowledge in today's society, including books, magazines, news reports, television media, and so on. However, when doubts arise, it is not always possible to ask questions in a timely manner, and individuals still need to rely on their own efforts to seek answers, which diminishes the effectiveness of science education promotion. In order to overcome these difficulties and enable the public to both absorb knowledge and obtain answers to their own questions, organizing popular science lectures is truly an effective way to promote science education. The library shoulders the important mission of rooting science education downwards, and in line with the Ministry of Education's promotion of lifelong education and the establishment of a learning society policy, it aims to bring new scientific knowledge to the public from a perspective that is close to the general population, using an approach that is easy to understand and accessible.
