To cope with the trend of global business, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs began promoting the operation headquarters policy in 2002, encouraging industries to actively use global resources to strengthen international competitiveness, making Taiwan their decision-making center, and continuing to invest in and cultivate Taiwan.Enterprises meeting the "Operation Headquarters Recognition Measures" may submit application documents to apply for the "Operation Headquarters Recognition Letter" from the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and enjoy related preferential measures such as relaxed investment limits in mainland China, the number of employees from mainland-related enterprises coming to Taiwan, their stay duration, and employment of foreign professionals.In line with the government's promotion of open data measures, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is now providing an online database for the list of enterprises with valid Operation Headquarters Recognition Letters, offering company names, recognition letter validity period, and industry information for public use.
